Awesome. McCain chose Palin for VP. I’m thrilled not because she’s a woman but because I’ve been impressed by everything I’ve read about her. I think it’s a great choice for McCain and is a good political move to boot.

For anyone who remembers, we finally wrapped things up with the builder, monetarily, and are done with that part of the project. The bank conveniently had to push us back a month before setting us up on our regular mortgage, meaning we’re paying another month of full interest, but that should be settled next month [...]
