Well, we’ve had snow flakes before today, even a slight accumulation but this is the first morning I’ve awoken to snow on the ground, which is my definition of first snow.

Today started as normal as ever, but soon the dreaded “I noticed so-and-so packing a box” started at the office, which means layoffs.  Again.

Meat CSA

So yesterday I picked up our first share of the winter meat CSA from our local farmer.
I got a dozen eggs along with the share.  They’re so pretty… all shades of brown and beige and even a few green eggs!  We haven’t tried them yet.
